So I know it has been a while... I'll go ahead and update that Bobby and I have moved to Jonesboro. We've been here since December, so I guess that's been about 5 months. Bobby and I have learned that Jonesboro really isn't as bad as we thought it would be. We knew we were supposed to be here for some reason, and maybe the past few months have reconfirmed that. Bobby and the bookstore has been doing well, he's busy right now because the semester is almost over. I've been doing my internships for school, my first one is done, and I just have 8 more weeks of my second one! Oh, and I have a J-O-B!!! I was offered a job at week 2 at the place I am currently interning. I really like it because I get to work with kids with autism, behavioral difficulties, and just overall developmental delays. These kids are really good kids, it's just sad when their parents don't treat them as they should. So I start my job after my internship and then I graduate in August! It's so hard to believe that I will FINALLY be done! After almost 6 years, school will be over with!
Bobby and I became an aunt and uncle for the second time this month. Brynlee Slade was born on the 9th. Bobby and I got to go to Conway on the 10th and meet her. Nieces are fun because you can play with them and spoil them all you want and then just give them back to mom and dad when they are fussy!
Bobby and I watched Marley and Me last night, and for those of you who are dog owners, or even those who aren't, I highly recommend this movie! It was such a good movie and it really shows how dogs are such a big part of their owners lives. Bobby has been pretty upset with Phoenix this week, so I told him that we had to watch this movie so that he would appreciate our dogs more :) Of course I cried like a baby at the end, and all I wanted to do was go hug Simon and Phoenix (I think Bobby did too). Dogs are great, they always seem to love you no matter what.

This is Teddy and Simon, they are brothers....Teddy is my brother's dog, and Simon is mine. We've had these dogs since I was in 5th grade. Teddy doesn't live with Bobby and I anymore because of the apartment situation here in Jonesboro, instead he lives with my mom and dad. Mom reports that Teddy doesn't like thunderstorms, and he's a little hard to live with. Mom, maybe you need to watch Marley and Me! :)

And here is Phoenix! He's a 68lb. black chow. Bobby and I took him for my Grandma because she could no longer take care of him. We love him, and he has an awesome personality. He talks to you, and he also has a gimp leg because he got hit by a car when he was a puppy. He definitely does not have a normal chow's temperment. When his fur grows out (with the exception of his bottom, he has male-pattern baldness, and no it's not mange) he looks like a bear cub. We thought he was dying last year, but it turns out, all he needed was a heating pad! I bet that thing put about 10 years back on his life! Anyways, like the movie last night, most of our favorite and funniest memories involve our crazy and geriatric dogs!
